Does everyone have a midlife crisis?

I think my dad has had one. He has ordered a motorbike. From America. Fancy.
It all happened very fast... And all was a bit *shock horror.*

Well, not really. But a little bit ooh.

So I come home and realise he's in the garage singing to the radio. I do a quick turn around, to make sure no one I knew was there, to avoid the embarrasment of my singing father.
He calls me into the garage. In the center there is stood a big gleaming Harley Davidson motorcycle. I look up at my dad's facial expression, I couldnt't doubt the sheer hypomania in his face. Oh boy.

"So, do you like it?" He asked, refering to the motorcycle.
Well, metal and sprayed on paintwork has never appealed to me before. I don't find it that interesting as he obviously does.
"..Yes, it looks brilliant." I replied.

Has anyone you know ever had a midlife crisis of somesorts? It could be getting a car (or in my case, motorcycle) or a new love affair. It could be remotely anything depending on personality.

Frantic Christmas shopping and the joy of being constantly offered Christmas (and coincidently, fattening) treats. I can't bring myself ever to say no
